International Association of Museum Facility Administrators membership offers invaluable professional benefits for its hundreds of facility managers of archives, libraries, museums and other cultural institutions (and their service providers). Join IAMFA, and give your career a boost!

Our Annual Conference is like no other! Exchange ideas and learn about latest technologies in a different city around the world each year.

Papyrus Magazine – Once you read your first issue of this full-color, glossy magazine, you’ll look forward to each subsequent issuance. Published by IAMFA, the periodical includes articles contributed by members and others with specialized, pertinent expertise.

Benchmarking Exercise – Participate in optional annual benchmarking exercises and you’ll identify opportunities for improving your operations. You’ll get proven, practical takeaways that can be implemented right away.

IAMFA Regional Chapters – In many regions across the globe, you can join intimate chapter groups where you’ll find opportunities for networking, sharing first-hand experiences and problem solving.

Membership Categories:

Member : $200 – A Member holds the key position representing their cultural institution, and is the voting member for the institution.

Associate Member : $75 – An Associate Member is any additional full-time professional, administrative or supervisory employee after the first member from the cultural institution.

Corporate Member : $400 – A Corporate Member is an individual employed by a manufacturer or supplier of goods and services who ascribes to the policies and programs of the IAMFA association and wishes to support the activities of the association. Corporate Members are not employees of a cultural institution.

Retired Member : $75 – A Retired Member is anyone who has worked in the cultural facilities arena for at least 5 years but is no longer in paid employment in this arena.

Annual Membership Fees cover each calendar year (January 1 - December 31), and are due by July 15th each year. If you are a new member of IAMFA joining after September 30, your membership fees will cover through the end of the following year.
